My oldest and youngest daughters. They are so silly.

I'm working on my youngest daughter's high school graduation scrapbook. This picture was taken this fall. isn't she beautiful? (I'm just a little biased)

I don't have a good picture of my second daughter in digital format. As soon as I do, I'll be making a layout featuring her too.

Christmas Layouts

This layout was made using a kit by Stacey Towers called Cinnamon Spice. The template is by Christie Lemmon. The glitter star is from the kit Holiday Sparkle by Linda Walton.

Jumping ahead 2 years (lol) I created this layout for the December FONT-a-LICIOUS challenge at Osten Wilkins Designs. The kit is from the December Download-a-Day kit made by Monna Lainson called "Happy Holidays". The challenge font for this month was Comic City. You can download it for free here.

Now I need to find some Christmas pictures from 1992 to fill in the gap!

Another new kit by Beacon Scraps

This is oh-so-pretty. Check out BeaconScraps Winterberry kit. I quickly put together this page of a Christmas long ago (to me, anyways) using this kit.

Wood Meets Denim

Here is a page I made using a kit from a new designer. Barb at Just Passing Through began sharing her designs this fall. Check out her kits, they are beautiful. As soon as I saw Wood Meets Denim, I knew this was the kit to use for my son's senior pictures. The folded frame and frayed fabric templates are from Gunhild Storeide.

Sisters with Attitude

I created this layout for the Inspiration Challenge at ScrapOrchard. However, I can't get it to load in their gallery. So I'm sharing it here. All paper and elements were provided by ScrapOrchard for this challenge.

Sing

Another layout for my hubby's Christmas gift. I'm still searching through my pictures for just the right ones to add. This was made using Summer Driggs's kit "Happy Mother's Day". It's kinda funny to use a "mother's day" kit, but I liked these papers! LOL

New Layout

I don't have a title for this one. It is of my oldest and youngest daughter not long after my youngest was born. They are only now starting to be close again and they are 17 and 24 yrs old! LOL! I used the Reflection kit by Nicole of Digi-Designs by Nicole.

Closer Quickpage

I'm still learning Photoshop. I am a very slow learner with this program; in fact, it is quite overwhelming to me! But, I'm working at it. I wanted to share with you this quickpage I made. I am in the process of putting together pages to put on my hubby's digital photo frame as a Christmas present. I was inspired by Bethany at Elegant Word Art. She fell in love with a song and made word art of the lyrics. You'll have to check out her website to read the full story, it is so sweet. My hubby and I have been through some tough times lately. I want him to have a daily reminder on his desk of our relationship.

This was created using a template by JenJen at Scrap Outside the Box (template 71) and free elements by Summer Driggs's Beautimous kit. I haven't found the picture I want to use for this yet. I don't have permission by any of the designers of these elements to share this as a layered .png quickpage for anyone to use. Sorry, I'm just showing what I've been working on.

Precious Punkin

This layout is made with the SNA kit "Precious Pumpkin" by my fave Vicki Parker. I'm still working on my youngest daughter's graduation scrapbook.

Precious

Here's another entry in the challenge I mentioned before. This time I didn't use a wintry theme. Here is my beautiful oldest daughter Molly.

Snow Babes

I decided to enter a contast at the Scrap'N Art forum. I have only entered one other contest before. I don't expect to win anything as I'm not as artsy-fartsy as some of these creators. But I enjoyed the challenge. I used the kit Merry Mistletoe by Vicki Parker that I downloaded free from the latest issue of Scrap'N Art ezine.

Back to Creating!

I've been rather busy with work and home life, but I have been scrapping!. I've also been crocheting and sewing. I hope to share some of that with you as well. Here is a scrap page that uses a quickpage by Pam LeFors Designs. It's a pic of me and my hubby taken last fall.

Moving Day

I decided to move my wordpress blog to blogger. I want to be able to create my own background and I can't seem to figure out how to do that in wordpress. So I will gradually be moving my posts from there to here. Welcome.

Crescent Lake

Another template used. This one is by Courtney Wilson at Skittles and Scraps. The paper and elements are from the premier kit by Ginger at GingerScraps. She has a fabulous blog where she posts all the freebies she can find on the web. She decided to try her hand at designing and I think she's done a fabulous job. I hope you enjoy this.

Canoeing

Wow! Another page finished today. I am really loving using these templates. This template is by Hawt Mama Team. Paper and elements are from a kit by my favorite Vicki at A Work in Progress. This was actually a free kit (called Beach Holiday) I got by subscribing (for free) to Scrap'n Art E-zine. Check it out.

Little Cutie

I am slowly learning how to use templates in Photoshop. This layout I completed entirely in Photoshop. I usually do part of it in photoshop, save as a jpeg and then complete it in Fotofusion. I have been following tutorials that Misty Cato has posted on her website. I used her Template 9. The paper and element are called Butterfly Princess, and I apologize but I do not know who created them. They are beautiful and if you know who I should credit, please let me know.

She's Stuck!

Here is my sweet baby girl, stuck under the dining room table, taken in 1991. I used Racketty Scrappety's Template 27 and Raspberry Road Design's Kaylabugs paper and elements.

Snow Fun

I'm trying to stay cool so I thought I'd create a winter layout! The templates are Templates by Erika #35 & #36. Paper and elements are Raspberry Road Designs Mystic Winter kit again. The word art on the right side is from MissMint's Wild Weekend kit. Please excuse how the pictures are not lining up. I can't seem to get blogger to agree with how I want my pictures placed. LOL

Love

I'm on a roll now that I've figured out how to use templates! Another layout that I'm creating for my daughter's graduation scrapbook (I've got a year to scrap 18 years!). Another Shazbutt template and papers and elements from Vicki again, this time from her new Pink Mocha collection. Enjoy!

Sweetheart

Here is a quick page I scrapped this morning. The template is from Shazbutt's Digi-scrapz. The paper and elements are again from Vicki at A Work in Progress from her Cinnamon Toast collection (I love her stuff). This is a picture of my sweet baby girl, when she was a sweet baby.

Where to print scrapbook pages

I wanted to share where I send my digital scrapped pages to be printed. Scrapbooks to Share is located in Florida. I've sent several orders to them and had no problems at all with the delivery or the quality. The only problem I had was that they do not directly accept Paypal, but you can direct Paypal to send a payment to them. Not really much of a problem, as far as I'm concerned. I received my orders within 3-4 business days. And the quality is such that my son had to touch the page in order to tell that it was not 3 dimensional. For $1.00 a page for 8.5x11 inches or smaller and $1.50 a page for bigger pages, this is a bargain. They have a flat shipping rate of $6.00 each order, but it is unlimited in the number of pages this order includes. You can pay extra for faster shipping rates, but really, I think I can wait 3-4 days to get my pages. They also offer services to scan your paper-scrapped pages for digital storage, but I haven't utilized that service.

I do not have any business ties to this company at all. I am just a satisfied customer and want to share my experience with others who may need this information. Visit their website for more information.

PS: I know that some folks go to Costco for their printings. I go to Costco about once each month and am planning a trip there tomorrow. I'll check into their services tomorrow and report back.

Graduation Layout

Here is a layout I made to celebrate my son's recent graduation. Credits include: Paper by scrappypony Grungingaround kit and Raspberry Road Designs SallyAnn and NewBeginnings kits, frames by kpertiet_Web51108 at DesignerDigitals and Miss Mint coordinated kit Wild Weekend frame1 from Peppermint Creative, Word art by Heralds_Graduation kit from Heralds Place, School seal obtained from school website, brad from TerresaS Designs Honoring Our Parents kit, wire embellishment from twoboyz00 BoyOhBoy kit, font is Bradley Hand ITC.

Another Page

I had minor outpatient surgery two days ago. Although it is difficult for me to do, it is quite evident that I'm taking my recovery time seriously and not doing anything except for what I want to do! I've created another scrapbook page. It features my daughter (and I'm sorry that the photo is rather blurry, that is how she wanted it to look when she took the photo). I utilized a template by Racketty Scrappety (template 13) and page elements from Raspberry Road Designs Mystic Winter kit.

Crazy Summer Love

I used Val's Retro kit from VJ's Scraproom for this. The pics were taken at a photo booth at our local mall a year before we were married.

Welcome

I've been learning to digital scrapbook. I think I like this better than paper scrapbooking at this time in my life. My house is busy with 2 teens and 2 young adults, 2 cats and 2 parents. In addition to those who live here, our house has become the place for the kids' friends to hang out. I don't mind that, but it does make for a crowded house at times. You'll notice in the links list some of my favorite freebie digiscrap sites and my favorite recipe sites. These seem to be what I enjoy doing the most.
Here is page I created just this evening. The scrap elements were freebies from Vicki at A Work in Progress. This is from her collection called BritPop. I love the bright colors she uses in this kit.

I'll be sharing more of my pages in the days to come as I just completed my son's scrapbook for his high school graduation party. That would explain why you will see mostly pages of him. I plan on starting on my youngest daughter's scrapbook this summer as she will graduate next spring.
