Guest Designer

Nibbles Skribbles has been chosen to be a guest designer at one of my favorite digiscrap places on the web: DigiScraps Drive In. She has created a kit exclusively for DSDI.

Take a look:
Isn't it cute! I've been slowly but surely been scanning in my photos from when my kids were little. I've scanned them all through 1989! So I used some of those old photos to scrap with this kit (hence the photo quality).

You can grab this cute little kit all month at DSDI only. Just click here

Strikes and Spares

The Scrappy Kat and Scrapalicious Cereal have teamed up to create a really fun kit. As the name says, it is based on bowling, but it really can be used for so many more game-themed layouts.

Here is a layout I made with this kit, and as you can see, this kit can be used for subjects other than bowling:

Click here to get The Scrappy Kat's part of this kit and here to get Scrapalicious Cereal's part. And Kat is offering an add-on freebie here.

And I want to give you a gift as well.

Midnight in the Garden

The Scrappy Kat has teamed up with Growing Pains Scrapped to make a new collab kit called Midnight in the Garden. She said she was inspired by the book and movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I've never read/seen this before. I'm going to have to check that out.

Here are the previews of both kits:

These colors and elements are so gorgeous! I love the wrought iron stuff especially.

Here is a layout that I created using just The Scrappy Kat's portion:

And as a gift for you, I'm giving you the above layout as a quick page!

Here is a layout that I made with this kit:

And a brag book page:

So, how is my mess up YOUR gain? Well, Cocoa wanted her CT to make bragbook pages for her to add to her store. Since I was off a week, mine didn't get to her in time. So she gave me permission to offer it as a freebie for you!

Le Petite Poodle

Well, I'm back after an extended time off thanks to ill health. I hope I'm back on the road to recovery, but I still have a ways to go. So I am easing back into my CT duties.

The Scrappy Kat has a freebie collab kit with SealScraps and Scrapalicious Cereal called Le Petite Poodle. This is in memory of a precious poodle of one of my fellow CT members that became ill and passed away recently. Losing a pet is losing a much loved member of your family and I think it is so sweet that these lovely ladies created this kit to help keep her memory alive.

Here are the previews of their kits. Click on their names to go to their blogs to download this kit.

Scrapalicious Cereal Scraps

Don't you just love those colors? As soon as I saw the theme of this kit, I knew I had the right picture for it. Here is my son 20 years ago. Although he doesn't play in the toilet paper anymore, he still has the knack for getting into the dog house!

I'm offering a freebie for you. I hope you like this bragbook page.

Sale at Stuff to Scrap

I don't know about you, but I'm jumping over there to grab some goodies!Click on the flyer to be taken to the store.

Big News!

Well, it's been a rough few weeks for me as I've had to say goodbye forever to three of my colleagues. Char and Paul both had fought the hard fight against cancer and lost. Their deaths were not unexpected, but certainly still very sad. But losing Gary still has me reeling. I still tear up when I think of what happened. I worked with him last weekend. Sunday night he had a stroke at the office (thank goodness other nurses were there). He was only 60 and he lived life to the fullest, doing what he loved, clear up to the end. RIP my friend.

So that explains my dry spell. I'm having a tough time coming up with ideas for layouts. Please forgive me as I struggle through this.

However, MandaK aka Nibbles Skribbles has got some really big news. She is opening up a new store at a fairly new forum. She will be selling her stuff at Digital Scrap Ink. I've signed up at their forum and started to get involved. They seem like very welcoming people so I hope you will take a peek over there. And to celebrate, she's having a sale:

Click on the flyer to go to her store and take advantage of her sale.
