Katina, aka The Scrappy Kat, is branching out into some new things in her store. She has created some CU textures that can be used for creating your own paper. I'm really not interested in designing at this time, but maybe you might be interested in these? Take a look:

Changes
I was saddened when I received an email from Jamie of Every EverAfter Moment Designs, that she had decided to close her store at Stuff to Scrap. But I totally understand why she made the decision. She has a young son at home and she wants to spend as much time as she can with him. And I know that time flies by fast. Click here for her blog post explaining her decision.
So while I support her decision in every way, I'm sad because that means she doesn't need a CT any longer. But for fans of hers at Stuff to Scrap, it is a great opportunity to pick up her wonderful kits for half price! Here is her store at Stuff to Scrap. But you'll have to hurry. This deal is up on Oct. 31. After that, these kits will be gone.

New Template Sets by Nibbles Skribbles
MandaK is back! Well, she wasn't really gone, just so busy at work and home that she hasn't been as busy designing as she usually is. But she has made some new things! Take a look at these template sets:
I haven't had the chance to make any layouts with these templates, but you can bet I will soon. I love, love, love templates!
And look at this nifty little offering:
Manda is so clever! This Date-It thing can be used for all sorts of layouts, but I'm thinking of using it for desktop layouts. Hmmmmm, my wheels are turning with this one.
She's got them in her store at Stuff to Scrap right now for 20% off until next Sunday, 10/25. Click here to be taken right to her store.

It's that time of year!
It's time for spooks and goblins to wander the streets looking for tricks or treats. And I've got the perfect kit to scrap all those photos of your own little spooks and goblins on Halloween.
The Scrappy Kat has a new freebie kit on her blog called Owl O'Ween. Isn't that a cute title? It is a collab she's done with another STS designer, Scrapping Rainbow Designs. I don't have the previews to SRD's portion of the kit, but here is what Katina has:
I'm afraid that I have paper-scrapped almost all of my kids' trick-or-treating days so I was pretty limited in what I could digi-scrap! But I did find this photo of a Halloween costume show my local JoAnne Fabrics had many years ago. I think this is from 1993! I always made my kids' Halloween costumes except for one year. My two youngest begged and begged me to buy them Power Rangers costumes from WalMart. I did, and those costumes lasted long enough to make it through trick-or-treat and then they fell apart. I still have all the costumes I made in a box in the attic, waiting for my future-grandchildren to play dress-up with.
Ahh, but I digress. Here is the layout I made, using portions of the kit from both designers;
Click here to go to The Scrappy Kat's blog to pick up this kit. It's free this week on her blog. She'll direct you to SRD's blog to pick up her portion as well. Don't miss it!

Many of us have been touched by cancer, in some form, in one way or another. That is why several Stuff To Scrap designers decided to collaborate to design the kit Rainbow of Hope. All proceeds from the sale of this kit and it's coordinating Quick Page Set will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Great effort was made not to exclude any forms of cancer in the making of this kit. The kit includes 60 papers, 76 elements and an alpha. There are awareness ribbons in each of the colors represented. The colors chosen for this kit represent the following forms of cancer.
Orange: leukemia
Yellow: Liver cancer, bladder cancer, osteosarcoma
Green: kidney cancer
Blue: colon cancer
Purple: pancreatic cancer, cancer in general
White bone cancer
Black: melanoma
Brown: colorectal cancer
Grey: brain cancer
Lime green: lymphoma
Teal: ovarian, cervical and uterine cancers
Burgundy: multiple myeloma
Periwinkle: stomach cancer
Pink: breast cancer
Light blue: prostate cancer
Pearl: lung cancer
Please visit Stuff to Scrap to purchase this kit. It is for a cause that touches the lives of nearly all of us.

Another Speed Scrap
Snuggle
Awwww, who doesn't like to snuggle? I'm a snuggler, that's for sure. But THIS Snuggle is a new kit by Jamie at Every Everafter Moment Designs. This kit is so soft and sweet and can be used for girl or boy layouts. Take a look:
Isn't it precious? I love it!
Here is a layout I made with this kit featuring my beautiful oldest daughter (well ALL my daughters are beautiful!)
This kit is only $2.00 at Stuff to Scrap. But you'll have to hurry to grab it, if you want it. Jamie is retiring from designing and this will only be available until the end of October. In fact ALL of her gorgeous designs are on sale for 50% off. I'll tell you more about that in a later post. Click on the preview above to be taken to her store.
And as a freebie gift to you, I am giving you the wordart I made with this kit. Click on the preview below to be taken to 4shared to download it.

Oh My Goodness!!!
I am such a bad CT member. That, plus the past week kind of imploded on me. Hubby has had a bump in his recovery that has him reeling a little bit (his incision became infected and now he has a wound vac on) and on Monday, I traveled to Indiana to pick my baby girl up from college to come home and recover from mono! *sigh*
So, all that to say, The Scrappy Kat has a new kit out in her store this week. It is just perfect for scrapping those autumn photos that don't involve pumpkins and Halloween things. The colors are so pretty! Take a look at Apple Festival:
Click on the preview above to be taken to her store at Stuff to Scrap to grab up this delicious kit. Don't you think you could scrap some Christmas photos with this kit too?
And she has offered on her blog a freebie cardstock add-on. Click on the preview below to be taken to that post for that freebie:
Do you like the layout I made with this kit? Well, I created it into a QP for Katina to sell. Here is a preview of the other QPs as well:

Sunshine Playground
This month, the designers at Stuff to Scrap have decided to donate the proceeds from their monthly collab to a very worthy cause. Read the flyer below to learn how Tara, a fellow CT member, is involved in this project:
Don't you think this is a wonderful idea? I deal with disabled adults on a daily basis and I know how much they struggle with the day-to-day tasks of daily living. Imagine being a child! A child's play is his/her work. This will contribute to the children's physical, emotional and social skills in so many ways. Please find a way to purchase this.
And, just what exactly will you receive for your purchase? Well take a look at these previews. I think this kit is just absolutely adorable!
Click on any of the previews to go to the Stuff to Scrap store.
